Non-alcoholic beer is an increasingly preferred choice among beer lovers who want to reduce alcohol consumption or have decided to avoid alcohol altogether. Fortunately, this does not mean giving up favorite flavors – the production of non-alcoholic beer has advanced to the point where the beverage’s core characteristics resemble traditional beer, and the selection has grown very diverse.

Non-alcoholic beer is produced using different methods. One option is to use fully fermented beer, from which the alcohol is then removed through vacuum evaporation. Creating a vacuum allows the alcohol to evaporate at a low temperature, so the beer’s taste is not compromised during the process. Another method is interrupted fermentation, where the fermentation process is stopped just before alcohol begins to form in the wort.

Non-alcoholic beer is becoming an increasingly popular soft drink, as the expanding product range offers both familiar flavors and new, exciting discoveries. Various versions can be found from both large-scale beer producers and smaller craft breweries. Growing consumer health awareness encourages producers to continually strive to offer alternatives suitable for all preferences.
